Hello,
I just saw this photo on another thread. What caught my attention was the saw mounted on the front of the tractor. I few years back I had pulled a similar looking device out of the weeds at my grandparent's farm ( the blade was hanging on a nail in a barn), and I've always wondered how it was set up and used. I haven't found anything useful on the internet yet, so just wanted to ask here if anyone has any leads on who made these, how they were set up, any good sources of photos, etc. Thanks!

As I recall, not all had sliding/movable "tables" like the one in the video.

All sorts of suppliers sold them, Sears and Wards included.
 
We had one we put on our G at times. Kinda like the one on the B. I helped cut wood with it a few times. The blade is awsome but I wonder why there weren't more people who used them missing a few fingers or an arm
 
Because my Dad told me and my brothers 6 thousand times (more or less) to make sure your footing was firm, to not "grab" for a loose piece of wood, and to keep our jackets buttoned tight.
 
I know someone who, on a saw very similar saw to the one pictured, lost a finger. They wrapped it in cold wet towels and rushed it along with the person to the ER. Finger ended up back in service for the most part. Be careful out there folks.
 
Might be a good item to sell at Kidron Ohio machinery sale. The Amish would buy it. Not sure what sale schedule is with the nnalert-19 ? They might have a website.
