Today after some mowing, I drove the 2510 up by the barn, cleaned it off with air while it cooled down. Got back on to drive it in the barn. Stepped on the clutch, started to shift into 1st, and the tractor starts moving forward, clutch still pushed down and before the shifter is fully in first. Get it back in neutral, try again, it does it again. This time I get it all the way into first, drive it the barn, it doesn't want to stop when I push in the clutch (I know, a real genius am I) , brake hard, get it out of gear, shut it down. Dark fluid (oil or dirty hydraulic fluid) was leaking from around the plate just forward of the mid pto. Hyd fluid and oil levels are ok , about the same as before mowing. I'll take another look tomorrow, just want to know if anyone has an idea about this. I've had the tractor for maybe 500 hrs, haven't ever messed with the clutch mechanisms.
