John Deere 1520 stalls

My 1520 3 cyl. gas tractor runs for a while and then stall out like it's running out of gas,at first it would run a hour or two depending on the temp. and start acting up,it would loose rpm and then come back
up to PTO speed and maybe go for 30 minutes and do it all over again,it never completely died.Recently it started to die completely after about a half hour of PTO rpm,if I let it cool down it will run again
for about half an hour and do it all over again,it has pertronics ignition and a new fuel pump within the last couple years, other than that it is stock, recently it will only run at about 1000 RPM after it
restarts when it dies but if I let it cool off it will run wide open, any ideas out there? Fuel or ignition? Thanks in advance-E-mail is open also.

Hang a timing light on it and watch the flash when it dies. No flash implies electrical. Still flashing as it dies implies fuel problems.
