2030 hydraulics--what am I doing wrong?

Trying to hook up the fertilizer buggy this afternoon and need an education on the hook-ups for this tractor.

Can you help me understand what I'm doing wrong? Or do I have something new to fix?
 

Do you have JD male tips not ISO?

I forgot to ask do you have receptacle barrels slide rearward before attempting connection then turn lever underneath coupler 45 to turn oil pressure on.
 

Hmmm. IThe hoses have a Pioneer coupler on them that does not taper like the one in your picture. I could swap those out for the right type. I havenot figured out how to post photos and videos in this forum.
 

Is this tractor new to you? Your 2030 remote couplers could be either the JD type in Tx Jim's picture or they could have been changed to ISO. Do you know which your tractor has? Have you successfully hooked up other hoses to your 2030 remote couplers in the past? If so what ends did those hoses have? Are the plungers pushed forward in the body? If so push them to the rear before trying to install the hoses. Levers under the body should point to the rear during installation.
