1969 - 4020 seat brackets

Curious to know if John Deere switched up yellow and green on its seat brackets. I have a 1969 with yellow seat brackets and have wondered which years were yellow and which were green. Or....I'm mistaken and these brackets came from another JD tractor. Anyone seen yellow seat brackets on a 4020?

What i have seen are the originals were green, and then the complete seat was replaced that had yellow, and funny thing the 3020 68 or earlier that I am working on has black ones on it.

I don't remember ever seeing yellow seat brackets on new 4020's

I could see that could be the case. The original upholstery can be and is different then the economy replacements. This seat probably was replaced at one time and had yellow brackets. I purchased the better grade original stitching and it came with green brackets. Good to know. Thanks!

Pretty sure it was All States Ag. Got it about a year ago.
