My farmer friend has a 4WD 5420 that lost brakes today after a hard day doing hay. He mentioned a smell of hot hydraulic fluid. He said the fluid level was ok. He also said after it cooled down the brakes came back and worked fine. He did say the pedal went to the floor when this happened. I normally work on Ford tractors and Massey Ferguson so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
