JD 3010 hydraulic pressure, flow rate

I need to buy a closed-center spool valve for a JD 48 loader I plan to install on my JD 3010. I can't seem to find any specs on the 3010's hydraulic system. I need to know the pressure and flow rate to get the right valve. From what I have found, the correctly set pressure is 2250psi, but I can't find the flow rate. Any help would be appreciated.

I saw a post on another forum that mentioned 12LPM (liters per minute?), so I was thinking maybe 10-12GPM, but couldn't find any confirmation. So, Thanks. That sounds about right to me.

18GPM max is probably right as well. Thanks to both of you.

You need to keep in mind that when a control valve with too high GPM capacity is installed on lower GPM then operators ability to feather a hyd function is lost or is very limited. Although Tratordata doesn't show 3010 hyd GPM it does show for the larger size 4010 which is 13 GPM

There we go! Thanks very much. That should give me what I need to get the right spool valve.

As I wrote in my earlier post, 18 GPM is MAXIMUM pump output.

Since this is a closed-center system your control valve does NOT have to flow the full volume of the pump. (As an open center system valve has to.)

IIRC, the individual 3010 MCV's flow 6 or 8 GPM's EACH.

As another poster said, lower GPM valves may be easier to "feather", so you MAY want to stay a size below a valve that's rated for the full GPM of the pump.

If the flow is adequate for the loader it should work well, and will have no ill effects on the closed-center pump.

My guess is currently a 3010 with worn hyd components will not come very close to the 16 GPM spec's shown in photo that SV posted.

3010 is 16 gpm 3020 is 18 gpm from the factory service
manual

OK & the hyd GPM on a 55+ year old tractor is ?????? Probably less but unknown unless properly verified by attaching/observing a hyd flow-rater
