62 2010 ignition switch

Does anyone know the resistance and wattage of the ignition switch resistor

I don't have a 2010 service manual at hand, but DO have one for the 4000 series here.

Resistance "spec." for the resistor on the switch is 2.2 Ohms, I would expect the 2010 would be similar.

Wattage "spec." is not given, 20 Watts should be more than adequate.

Sorry I don't have any specs or manual for that tractor either. The best pure guess I can offer is on a 12 volt tractor that uses a 6 volt coil (IFFFFFFFFF that's what you have ??? I dont know) Id expect the ballast to be in the 1.5 to 2+ ohms range and rated for 25 watts.

Hopefully someone has the correct spec for your tractor and can provide the exact answer..............
