Input shaft

well guys. Anyone can point me in the right direction. I've searched online for over a week for a input shaft for my 69 JD 450 dozer with no luck. Looks like I'm going to have to scrap it. I won't pay $2500 to $4000 for a transmission
 

Not knowing where you checked. Did you call NORTRAX and see if the shaft (part number AT21511U) is a used or aftermarket one to substitute for the AT21511 it looks like you need? And if it is, is it still available? They might have an idea of someone around parting out a 450 with the HLR.

Here are some other sites you might check if you haven't. Also I recommend calling and talking to someone, not just counting on it showing up in an on line search. The sites will have phone numbers.

thanks Jim. John deere discontinued them.
So I have to find a parts machine or see if
a machine shop can make one
