We are ready to convert 50 over to electronic ignition I see there are choices with different distributor serial numbers. This distributor does not have a tag. Anyone know what the differences are so we can order the right Petronix?

Can you take a picture of it and post it so maybe we can figure it out, the 50 s has numerous different distributors on them. I have a xb4023 on mine which is the ugly stepsister of distributors on the 50 s. The coil is inside the cap, looks like a magneto but isn t. Do you have a external coil on yours.

It is the same distributor that I have on my 60 and 70 with the coil outside mounted horizontal.

Could be a Delco or a Wico Wico has tag on the outside

Surprized to find one of them had a tag Delco Remy 1111558.
