John Deere 2010 Glow Plug wire connection

Hello, would any one know if this has a part number? The wire from the ignition switch goes to each cylinder. I m working on rewriting this but I think they re beyond saving. I would like for the glow plug heat to work as it gets mighty cold up here in Canada.

Two styles of glowplugs were used, to determine correct part number note which wrench size fits the hex on the G.P..

3/8" hex = Current DEERE part number AT23537.

5/8" hex = Current DEERE part number AT16144.

They are TERRIBLY expensive from DEERE, there's lots of on-line sellers who claim to have good substitutes for a lot less $$$.

Bosch would be a good choice, IMHO.

Here is a direct link you can click on to go to the PC731 parts catalog. It will save you doing the model search needed with the link to the catalogs I gave you the other day. It will help you ID things and give you part numbers to do searches with.

It appears from viewing parts catalog that glow plug wiring is included in main wiring harness. I checked harness part #(AT17598) for later serial # tractor & it is NLA. One needs to know your tractors serial # to accurately determine correct part #. You might need to contact www.wiringharnesses.com

Thanks for all the replies and the specific part numbers, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Hopefully this tractor will run again.. one day

You are going to need all those glow-plugs working even if it is not cold. I suspect that 2010 won't hardly want to start at 50 degrees F
without glow-plug heat. In temps down near zero, it really needs the optional hand-operated fuel-primer IF you do not use a block heater.
