Does anyone know where you can find Pat Brownings John Deere H Restoration Guide? I have looked in the logical places (Ebay amazon) and no luck. There is a website for it but it hasn't been updated for almost 10 years. All of the archives here are very old as well. Looking g for some fresh info. Thanks.

Do not know how fresh this info is and maybe you have already tried this number but here it is anyway.

Charles Lindstrom has rights to the book. 1 816 232 5868

This guy had a website that no longer works as you know and he may not still be alive but he obviously made an investment in getting the rights to Pat Brownings books so if they are no longer available someone has dropped the ball.

I tried that avenue but saw the site was down. It would be a shame if the book was lost.

I?d check Amazon and Barnes and Nobel, type in the title or author, click ?all formats?, you may find it at some used book store that way.

I have both volume 1 and volume 2 of that book. I know volume 2 is autographed by Pat, but I really don't want to part with them.

Yesterday I emailed Charles Lindstrom and this is the reply:

We are out of the book, we have it on a CD for 25.00 plus 8.00 S&H and a service guide on CD for 15.00

Thanks for the info. I may do that. I actually want the physical book. I dont have or want a computer in the shop. It is nice having the real deal in my hands....call me stubborn and old fashioned. If I get to a point where really need it I'll call them.

I have several service manuals on CD and find them very handy as when I need to I can print out just the info that I need and take it to the shop or barn where the tractor is stored. Do not have to worry about how dirty my hands are either. Good luck finding the books.
