The other day I found out that my R won?t shut off by pulling the throttle back with the pin depress. I push the pin in and pull the throttle back, but it hits the stop before it shuts off. Do I need to adjust the stop? Or is there a problem in the injector compartment?
Thanks

First thing I'd do is check the throttle linkage for wear or binding.

If any pivot points are binding, lube 'em up and loosen them,

Otherwise, I would think making an adjustment to the external throttle linkage to compensate for wear may be needed.

I DOUBT if the problem is internal.

Bob, I made a rookie mistake, I didn?t look close enough. The stop screw turned itself in, and I didn?t notice.
Thanks for the help.

HEY! Noth'in like having a little good luck!

Darn it, now you've got me thinking about the "R" I used to own! I want it back! Or, the 830, 720 or 730 that I've owned! LIFE and the need for $$$ got in the way of keeping them!

The R is a really great tractor! It pulls a disc around the field a LOT
easier than my A!
