John Deere 60 power steering conversion

I?m wanting to take power steering off a parts tractor and put it on my John Deere 60.

I have the pedestal and looks to be control valve. See picture below

Do I need a different steering ?axle? than the non-power steering tractor? My donor tractor does not have a steering wheel...

I do have a service manual.

Sure would appreciate a sequence to do this upgrade.

Going to have steering shaft and change top tank on radiator. Roll a matic is same.

Depends on the SN of your tractor (later the better). This is what I have to put on one of my 60's.

I was told that it was necessary to have a different fan support so I bought one of them. Going to try to install mine this spring on my high seat 60 standard.

Cool, looks like about what I have minus hoses and pipelines. Waiting for warmer weather to commit to it though....

There was one comment that suggest a radiator change as well. I haven?t pulled hood off yet to see about that. Unless, power steering oil is cooled in the radiator....?

I would be interested in picture progress though as you go!
