2555 Clutch Problem

Hi guys,
i've got a new to me 89 2555 with the TSS trans. tractor has set for a few years and i've got it back up and going. the machine seemed just fine once i got it running again. i changed all fluids and filters before i started running it. I did pull the suction screen as well and clean it out.
first day out while running it i lost all my hydraulics almost all at once. Loader was really slow, brakes were stiff and clutch had no pedal. so i headed back to the shop with it and everything came right back like there was never a problem.
So i decided to check everything over, and i had a leak at the canister on the hydraulic filter. turns out i pinched the o ring putting it on. so i thought i was sucking air at the canister causing me to drop flow in the hydraulics.
I fixed the O ring, and reinstalled the canister and the machine was doing just fine. until the other day i was out and i pretty much lost the clutch entirely. i can't shift ranges without it grinding, i have almost no pedal, and it doesn't have enough pressure to return the clutch pedal. i have to pull it back with my foot. i checked the master cylinder and it was really low. (which didn't add up because i had just checked it when i lost the clutch the week before and it was fine). So i added fluid and tried bleeding the clutch. i get a very small amount of air. and can't get a hard pedal. it still will not pump up. i really can't even get much fluid to come trying to bleed it. there just is almost no pedal. i left the bleeder open hoping to let it gravity feed but that didn't help either. Also tried running a hose up to the master cylinder and pumping the brake to flush any air to the highest point. still couldn't get the clutch to build a pedal.

Is there a way to check the slave cylinder through an inspection cover of some type?

i'm kind of lost as to what could be going on now. i'm not loosing any clutch fluid at all now. i have no idea why it got low that one time. i'm assuming if it was leaking past the Slave Cylinder it would continue to do so but so far it has not.

Also is there any connection with this to the hydraulic issue i had?

My guess is traction clutch operating system has air in it. I can think of no connection between traction clutch & operation of hyd system. Pto/trans pump input shaft is powered from center of traction clutch pressure plate & should have power(rotate) anytime engine flywheel is turning.
