825i Gator ROPS/Light wiring - Help Needed

I have an 825i gator that I am putting some extra lights on. I bought the JD wiring kit to add the switch pod on the overhead roll bar. I have it connected under the seat to a yellow wire providing ignition switched power and ground. The wiring harness has a relay in it. I get power into the relay, but nothing coming out. I get no power to the switch or lights. Does anyone have any experience installing this kit? Also, anyway to test to see if the relay is bad which is my current guess as to what the issue is. Thanks.

Relays are pretty easy to test some even have a
little line drawing showing what terminal does what
then you use a jumper wire and give it power and
ground on and listen and feel for the relay to click
no click bad relay
