4020 auction results? Ohio -thursday

The Wendt Group auctioned off a large grain farmer's (Henry) equipment on Thursday 12-12 a little southwest of Washington Court House. Four really nice late model 4020's
sold. Anyone know anything on prices?
 
Read on Auction Time forum that one with loader brought $21K and it said others were $16500 and $18K.Said they were nice and 1971 models didn't say what transmission/.That's about what they bring if nice.Several years ago I had a nice original 72 4020 lower hour syngro for sale and neighbor thought it was too high so went and bought perfectly painted one with new tires and new tach for about the same money only He didn't count the $10K that the O.H. cost at JD the same year.I bought the nicest 1206 original I had seen for awhile for $12K and it really didn't need paint I had it painted near perfect and thought it should have bigger Firestones so when I got new rims tires and paint my reasonable original was now around $20K. The nice ones on Rob Pendl sale were higher but to me the buy was an original 72 38 tires and big fenders and said less than 3000 hours at $18500 but it would have probably taken more. I just sold one of the nicest 70 power shift originals with canopy for $17k
 
Thank you Larry. Those 4020's must have been just as nice as advertised. Of course they went for less than the ones at the Pendl sale....isnt that the sale where Kinzenbaugh bought some iron? Hard to outbid him.
 
FYI- I figured this would make it to Machinery Pete and he dropped the video today. All sharp looking 4020's.
All synchro's. '69 with 5,700 hr and 720 loader and canopy $21,500
'71 with 8,400 hr and canopy, rear weights and front double stack $16,500
'71 with 6,300 hr and canopy, rear weights and front double stack $18,000
'72 with 5,800 hr no canopy, rear weights and front double stack $18,000. Prolly the best buy of the bunch.
