We use to have a mt on the farm when I was a kid and remember that at times it was hard to get in to gear?. Now that I have another one man it is at times to get it in 1,3,4 gear. It acks like it don't want to even go in to the shifting fork. If you are in 2 it will shift to reverse good and back to 2 but if you put in neutral it will fight you to try to go in the shifting fork it seems. Is there a way to fix this or is it just the way the mt is. Thanks.

I never had to go into the transmission on my MT so I cannot help on that end but I didn't have the same issue. Mine went into all gears fine except for real cold winter days when the oil was thick. Then it was hard and sluggish to get any gear.

My 1950 JDM did that years ago.
Remove the cover and clean the old sticky gear oil off of the rails and shifters. The gears are sticking

How would you go from second to reverse and bank without going to neutral?
Do you mean if you let the clutch out in neutral it's hard to get back in
gear? Then your clutch might be dragging,

I have the clutch down and I can move it too the revers with it down after that tractor stops from plowing snow so maybe the clutch is spinning some but it don't grind in to gear it just acks like it is not in the slot for the shifting fork when you try the other gears.

This one here seems to move easy but it acks like it is being blocked it go in the slot for the shift ball it fall in. You have to mess around trying the gears tell it will go in to one then in neutral then fight to get in the one you want. It is a real pain in the you know what at times. It seems like once you go to neutral with the shifter it lost it pandered shitting areas and working the clutch in and out don't help. Some times it will fall in to the gear slot and u can stop the spinning of the clutch an then put in the gear. Thanks for your reply.

Take the top cover off.
Inspect it.
Clean the old sticky gear oil off of the shifting rails.
Make sure that there is actually gear lube in the transmission.
