1984 JD 1050 power steering cylinder

Anybody know of a rebuild kit for the cylinder or valve?
My systems feels dead, no leaks, but its old.

Also the the tie rod end (ball joint) on the front end of the arm that attaches to spindle arm. Is it the same as the drag link tie rod end?
Hopefully my picture came through.

Have you checked power steering system pressure? Does 3 pt operate correctly?

It appears cylinder & valve are still available from JD. It also appears cyl seal kit subs to the complete cylinder. After system pressure check I'll recommend to check flow divider for leaking internal seal. After performing those tasks I'd disassemble the cyl & check with hyd supply business in an attempt to get seals. Ball joints have different threads(LH or RH) depending on location. Ball joint you need is part # CH20113 which is NLA from JD. You could check with a Yanmar dealer for parts availability.

Thanks TxJim, I appreciate the help. I will check pressure, and then the divider.
Tractor has 1100 hours on it and may have been sitting (I just bought it). THe guy I bought it from doesnt know much of the history.
Where are you in Texas? I live in Cypress area, but I'm building in Brenham (where the tractor is).
