Can someone post a pic of correct 7 hole seat?
Also a 3 hole would be appreciated. I have 9 and
5 hole seats but trying to stay politically correct.

So are you telling me that mine is not supposed to have 19 holes?
Feels good on hot days cultivating.

TWO-CYLINDER magazine March-April 2009:
AD1606R hi-back bucket steel seat was widely used until 1970's by John Deere on
various equipment.
Also: 1937-1942 9 holes *1942-1944 7 holes *1944-1946 5 holes *1946-up 3 holes

I would think that bolt and square plate would get uncomfortable after a long day.
Thanks

Not too long ago you could still buy the AD1606R but you would be disappointed. I ordered one for the heck of it and it was some low square pan. Funny how they kept the same part number and did all those changes to it.
I had a lot of H's over the years. Several had the aftermarket seats with the shock on them. But the ones with original style looking seats it looked like the pan had a little higher back on it and I just can't remember how many holes they had ? if it was 7 or 9 ?

The seat on my H doesn't have a plate and hex bolt. It has a carriage bolt and it isn't a problem to ride all day.
I am not about to tell my h that it isn't politically correct.

I once bought a tractor where the previous owner torched the hump off the front center to allow room for the family jewels !

That looks like on implement seat to me. One that would be used on a cycle bar mower and such. I have an original 9 hole seat and it has a square hole in it for a carriage bolt.
