Model A John Deere weights

When I use my A to put out hay for the cows the front wants to come off of the ground. What would be better to stop that weighted hubs or wheel weights?? Thanks for the help!

Make a weight bracket and hang some weights on it when you need them. Sometimes that still isn't enough. LOL

I use these when using my B with mounted two bottom plow. How much weight are you trying to counter balance ?Some will say my weights stress the B's frame but I think they are my best option and they bolt on easily with out drilling extra holes.

I have two 55 pound weights that I have to hang on the flywheel side up front on the 39 h when I plow. other wise it will pull the front end in the furrow all the time. These are just farm weights.

Simple to do. We like to use 1/2"x4 or 5" steel for the sides. Make it come back far enough to fit the first hole in the frame and use a big washer to make up for the hole size. You will need a front plate that bolts to the 2 cultivated bolts on the pedestal and weld that to the 2 side bars. put a piece across the front to hold it all together and your good to go. These hang on the side as you can see but you can hang them on the front bar also. Length is 11 ft. from the center of rear axle.
