4430 Electrical

The electrical on my 4430 is sho9wing it's age and needs updating.

Under the access panel on the floor are two 9 pin connectors, which I believe are molex (male and female). Is that right?

I have found a sight that advertises a pre-wired quick disconnect (nine pin) but they don't call it a molex but it sure looks like one.

Also, a few months ago I thought I saw a post here about the different electrical connectors on a 4430. I thought it said they were called
50's series connectors and there was a link to a site that sold them. Am I right or just imagining things?? Can't find it now.

Thanks in advance.

DEERE has many of the connector bodies and pins listed individually in the parts catalog.

DelCity.com is ONE online source for Packard and other connectors.

That set of connectors go bad over time mostly from the battery vapor.. the best way is to carefully match up your tractor serial number to the new harness available from Deere and replace it all..

Thanks for the help.

I agree that new harnesses would be the ideal solution but I am working by myself and
it would be difficult, I think to do so. I only put about 50 hours a year on the 4430.

It appears that most of the connectors are Packard series 50's. It seems the problem is not in
finding the connectors but getting the housings.
