1959 730 Diesel-Flat-top fender light wire routing

Good evening,

I am slowly working through the wiring schematic for this tractor with a local tractor club member. It appears that the flat top fenders have a hole and channel cut in base of the mount to route the headlight wires towards the center of the tractor. From the factory, how were these wires run along the rest of the axle towards the center of the tractor? I?m thinking they had to be run somehow to prevent snagging. Thanks.

There was a little [ shaped channel covering the wires. It bolted to the 3/8" hole on the top of the axle housing. The channel tucked under the fender bracket and went almost all the way under the platform. Long ago NLA. We made ours...

Axle wire cover (530: AG20932; 630, 730: AG20871) $ 30.00 pr. Here you go. These are available from Agri Services of Alden, NY.

I have ordered these covers from here and they work great. Just goggle for ordering info.
