Hey, i have a 1968 JD 4020. The tractor was parked around 5 years ago and was running great at the time. The tractor has been a one owner unit and is in great shape. I am having trouble getting fuel to the injectors now, and havent been able to get it to start. I have bleed the filters and the lines to the injection pump. I have steady fuel when cranking from the bleed port on the other side of the injector pump inlit. I also have good fuel on the bleed port near where the return line connects to the injection pump. However, I can't get any fuel through the injection pump, with the throttle in mid or any position. I have loostened all the banjo connections on the pump, and the compression fittings near the injectors. Not a drop of new fuel from anything when cranking. I think the tractor throttle may have been left in fuel shut off mode when the tractor was last parked, and the shutoff mechanism has frozen shut. I am looking for someone who has knowledge of the inner workings of these pumps, and can point me in the right direction. I included a picture of the model placard on the pump!
