Recommendation for Head/Engine Work

I'm resurrecting a basket case restoration of 1939 'H' that I started more than 20 years ago; pulled the tractor out of hedge row when I was 18, got it apart, got some parts and pieces painted, and the transmission back together before I got distracted with girls, booze, and college.

I got the inkling to get it together and do a full restoration on it recently. I was going to start with the simple engine work first - machining the head.

I am looking for a service vendor that is familiar with John Deere 2 cylinders, has a good reputation, and isnt unreasonably expensive. I'm in western New York, but for the right reasons I wouldnt mind crating the head and other components and shipping them.

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations?
 
a machinist with head rebuilding should have no problem do that . everything is bigger, but hardly on an H, than your standard heads but nothing much different in the operation. valve and seat angles are still the same. be paying more for the shipping than actual work costs. ooh and only 2 cyl's to work on. if you have rebuilt a ford engine no reason you cant rebuild a dodge or chevy.
