JD630 inomplete restoration

My father started restoring a 630 but passed away before completing it.

I would like to know the best way to get this basket case into the hands of someone who would appreciate it as either a parts donor to their restoration or as a project of their own.

Please pardon the typos on my cellphone and its tiny screen.

Best Regards

I also would love a 630 project tractor depending on where it is located. Could you tell us some more about it? There was a guy that posted on here back early in 2019
about having bought a 630 project tractor for around 1,200 dollars in the deep South.

Best way I can think of is to put it up
for sale at a reasonable price. Any I've
seen are priced at ridiculous amounts and
then the seller starts threatening to haul
it to a junkyard when no one wants to pay
that much.

The tractor is about 30 minutes North of OKC.

I'm not locking to price gouge. I want it to go to a good home for fair and reasonable money.

Best Regards,
Sid

The 70 and 730 already have a good home with my uncle.

Lots of 630's listed on Craigslist for big money going unsold. Check Auction Time out as a few non-running 630's recently sold with the prices listed there. It would help give some realistic parameters on value.

(quoted from post at 17:30:53 10/06/19) OKC as in Oklahoma City is too far for me so next man up.

Where do you live? (You don't seem to have email/pm's enabled)

I do travel some so, the distance might not be as big of an issue as it initially appears.
