730 and 830 diesel

This has been asked before probably. I'm working on my 830 Diesel and the question came up if a horsepower increase would happen taking the injectors and pumps and putting them in a farm used 730 diesel. I assume there would be more smoke but not much power gain. as they are going in a smaller cube engine.

Gary Power is the guy to get ahold of for your diesel questions. He makes some high hp JD's. Don't know his number though.

Both 730 and 830 SHOULD have the 13MM pumps, I've seen some with 10MM too that have been put in just to get engine running. The 830 should also have six hole tips that will fit the 730.
