5020, 6030, 7520 or 5200, 5400 forage engine questions

The plan was to put the turbo, intake, and intercooler etc off of a 7520 and put on my 5020, had the injector pump rebuilt and turned up 10%. However, i have not been able to secure the parts tractor like i had hoped. That still may happen, but for now, i started looking at the parts manuals to see what all machines i could pull the intercooler, cover, intake, oil lines off of, and JD says they were only on the 6030/7520 and a couple forage machines.
That being said, has anybody tried using the 619 parts or are they just way to far off? I was kind of betting on them being usable, but just a different part number because they may have changed something minor. I just dont know enough about those types of models to know what i could go after and i dont want to spend the money and find out they wont work lol.

Would anybody happen to know about this? or have any suggestions?

531A exhaust manifold elbow is different than newer because of the flat plate used to mount the 6030 air filter.
The 6030 air filter can be directly bolted to the head another way if you do not have an original 6030-7520-5400 exhaust elbow.
To use the 6030 air filter, you also need an early air breather cover. Your 5020 breather tube will not work and a later Deere rockshaft cover will also not work because of the fumes exhaust rear location.

Thanks for the information, i was pretty sure on the 619, but with out ever having one i wasnt sure.

Roger, I dont know anything about the forage machines, but the part numbers for the intercooler turbo setup lists out the 5400 and the 5600. I didnt go searching through those parts manuals, so i dont know, but did deere offer a 531 in maybe a later 5400? where i live i dont think ill find either machine anyway.

First thing that should be added to any 531 or 619 is an low oil pressure alarm Murphy Switch to shut down the engine asap.
Most of those engines die from spun main bearings .

"Classic" Deere self propelled harvester range was made of two models, one having the engine of the biggest Row crop or smallest 4WD made, and the other having the biggest 4Wd engine.
i;e, 5200 started life with a 404A 7020/4620 engine and finished with a late 404A 7020/4630 engine.
5400 always had the 7520 531A engine.

Then 5440 had the 4630 404 engine, 5460 had the 8630 619 engine

5720, 5730 had 4840-4850 engine
5820, 5830 had 8640-8650 engine

Neither 5720 or 5730 got the "not so good" gear driven water pump on their 466.
