Hello.
Trying to help a friend with wiring on a 1955 70 JD diesel with gas pup motor. Need a good wiring diagram for everything. Really appreciate any help. Electrical system is a positive ground. Thanks

tractor has a momentary pushbutton 3 wire switch that I don't see in diagram. mainly need diagram for a 2 terminal fuel sending unit and 3 terminal fuel guage that has the momentary pushbutton switch to check fuel level with engine off. thanks

Fuel sending unit should be a single terminal and the fuel gauge has two terminals. When you depress the momentary push button it draws juice from
the battery to read the fuel level. When the tractor is running and the momentary switch is not depressed it pulls juice from the generator to read the fuel
level.

Fuel gauge 3-termial switch is clearly shown in Jame's diagram.

If you have a 3-terminal GAUGE, the third terminal is either a ground (connected to the case of the gauge) or for powering an internal light (non-original style gauge).

I believe additioinal terminals will be grounds. I assume diagram is viewed back of devices, switches, ect.

The diagram also shows a starter switch but other than combination switch I only have the hign amp switch built on starter.
