Maybe going out on a limb here but this topic has been discussed before. See PC766, front end support-9 item #2, R1871R. I believe my 80 and the 820s and 830s all have this weight under the sheet metal of the front support. I can not prove this with a pic as I have not had that sheet metal off but there does appear to be a weight under that sheet metal. Some day I will just have to remove all that sheet metal to have a good look. The AC-1000 attachments catalog does not list that weight, although PC766 says the #2, R1871R, (ATTACHMENT). SOooooooooo clear as mud, I believe mine has it, option or not.

R 1871R weighs 142 lbs.

mine has/had one, i took it off thinking i was going to pull with it and would need the weight off of it but kinda gave up on pulling before i ever got it to a pull. i have also been told they came from the factory with 2 sets of wheel weights on the inside of the wheels, which mine had and i went through the work of pulling those off as well and put them on the out side.

(quoted from post at 21:49:01 07/12/19) Did the 830 2 cylinder tractors come with the front weight thats under the grille, or was that a option for that tractor

iirc JR Hobbs published a book that had the option list for various tractors ?
