4430 Manual

Bought a '75 4430H ser# 018075R early last year and it's started giving a few issues such as intermittent won't start and intermittent gauges won't come on. Have an idea from reading here on the forums what to investigate to try to solve the problems but want to buy a manual that has wiring diagrams. Already have an operators manual but that doesn't help with what's going on now. Can someone point me where to buy the correct manual for my tractor?

You can order TM1057 direct from JD. For stating problem check to be sure relay above starter has a good ground connection. Gauges
intermittent gauges won't come on is probably caused from faulty cab relay or loose elect connection. Cab relay can be accessed by removing cowling in frt of dash

Thanks Tx Jim, It's on order. On the starter relay, is it under the hood straight above the starter.

Yes it's bolted to bracket attached to firewall.

Well, got her fixed. Tech manual start system test procedure led me right to the starter. Took it in for testing and found it was shorted. I'm a firm believer that the manual is worth it's price.
