Tire ballast - will it hurt to run one with fluid & one

4020 with a front end loader. Had old rim/tire with CA in it and the rim finally rusted through. Replaced it.
Hubs did not put fluid in the new tire, and isn t sure if there s fluid in the other tire or not. Will it hurt anything if one tire does have fluid and the other tire does not?

wont hurt a thing. just will spin out before the other tire. on my pulling tractor I have no fluid on one side so I added two extra weights to that side . seams to balance out.

I would not do it,, the balance of the tractor will not be good,,it will give you a stronger chance for it to upset,,this scenario got a young man killed in a roll over a few years ago in my area, he for got about it and had the loaded tire on the down hill side..

It will not hurt a thing, other than you will have traction on one and none on the other,

You also need the ballast for the front end loader. Get it filled and check the other one!

On a 4020 with a loader you will need both rear tires filled with fluid plus more weight yet. A 115 blade hanging on the rear is perfect amount extra !
