Couple pics of the finished product. Fit under hood is very good. The fresh air line from filter to turbo is the biggest challenge. Exhaust fits original opening in hood perfectly. I think I will put on a K&N type filter that will connect directly to turbo intake and fit under the hood and between the cowl. I drove it a couple miles to bring it up to temp. It?s been several years since we had a 4430 but sound and feel reminded me of it for sure. Going to be a lot of fun. Big thanks to Tim S for helping me out w the parts as well as tips for installation.

Nice looking tractor......great job. I never thought about using the weights as a step..

Father in law got tired of his muffler on his case 1370 rusting out every few years, so he made one out of stainless. The muffler is with my son in law now, but I'm betting the muffler outlives the tractor. Just wondered if you could make one to fill the whole in your hood??

Again....Great looking tractor!

Ya we didn?t plan on the weights being the step. It just worked out that way. Even when weights are off the bracket is a handy step. The original hole in the hood is fine w a 4 in pipe coming out of it. The whole point was to not cut it up. Thanks for the comments. This tractor has been on this place since I was young. Kinda grew up with it. Now it?s my sons project. Lots of fun.

Wow, that is really nice. Great job! That engine is so clean looking. I'm talking about pipes and such, not dirt. Paul
