I have a 1972 2520D PS. 6700 hrs, wfe, single remote, ROPS, new rear tires & rims. Front & rear weights. Sheet metal is 9 out of 10. Runs and shifts well. Org paint that is faded but good. Eng was rebuilt at some time but I don't know when. What's a fair price?

I don't know what they bring now but not to long ago that tractor would bring north of $20K being Diesel, PS, and 1972. Let us know what you learn.

if you actually want to sell it, price it between 14-16k. There have been several listed this year around 20k and no takers. Prepare yourself to be inundated with calls from lookey loos, tire kickers, wanna be jockeys wanting more pics, trying to beat you down on price, wanting free delivery etc. The market is down, but not so much on the 72's.

I think it should be in that 20K range. There was an older 2520 powershift with roll guard that was fairly strait that was on the photo ads here and a few other places for $12,500. It was in TX and was advertised for several months. I considered it but the trucking bill to WI was going to be a fair amount and I dislike buying from pics.Current farm prices are hurting the tractor market at local sales but Mecaum had a very high priced sale in Davenport this spring. Start at 25K and see what you are offered. It is a very desirable tractor. Tom

If it is original, but ok looking, that may help.

Also, I do not know in tractors, but in classic cars, buyers like 'stories'. So any old pics or documentation may add to the price.
