John Deere 210 tiller

Hey guys. I?ve got a 1973 JD 210 that my grandfather
originally bought and I just use it for snow blowing in the
winter and I have a sprayer I mount to it in the spring. I just
bought a #31 tiller for this. It didn?t come with a mule drive so
I am machining/welding a new one. One thing has me
stumped. I don?t see where you hook up the linkage from the
tiller to the hydraulic arm. I looked up under the seat pan and
I believe I see something mechanical that the hydraulics move
but I don?t see anything to hook it up to. Do I need to pull the
seat pan off to hook it up? Thanks for the help!

This is a great website but for smaller things like that you might have better luck trying another site called Green tractor talk. They specialize more in compact tractors and mowers.

Does your tractor have Key #5 and associated parts installed in the rear frame plate?

Are you aware you can view parts breakdowns for the tractor and tiller at https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/?
