Hi guys - can't seem to locate my Green Magazine with article on the 420. I know there was discussion about solid green 420's; does anyone know if there were serial #'s, or, production totals? Know the numbers were sequential regardless of variant per year, my mind isn't helping. May be totally wrong, too. Found one ('58) without tach and without front lighting equipment. I assume it is not low-production and I'm forgetting something. Thanks ladies & gents for the help!

The solid green one's are known as "phase 1". Serial numbers went from 80001-94818. A '58 would be considered a phase 3. They started at serial number 125001. Phase 2 started in '57
at serial number 100001. Then you have to throw in when they added the yellow stripe and the slant steering.
