Hey,
I'm working on a 2350 with four wheel drive which has hydrostatic steering. It leaks out of the top cover which means the oil is getting by the top seal. The tractor has 9,170 hrs on it. My question is does any one have any experience changing those two seals and the O rings and having it stop the leak or is the hand pump so worn from all those hrs that it won't correct the problem? Deere wants big money to replace the whole steering valve. It does appear that perhaps I can get a rebuilt one for around $600 before the core return. Any help would be appreciated!
