Where can I get a 5/16 ball valve with compression fittings? Do they exist, or do I need to flare the lines in order to put a shut off valve in the line?

You could screw the compression fittings into the ball valve. They come in various pipe thread. Ron MN

Check with Kuhn tractor repair in oxford New York, he put a in line fuel shutoff on my A, seems to be working fine

Hey,
I always install a positive screw type fuel bowl on all my letter series tractors and shut it off when the tractor is not in use. Works well and the tractor stays original. Good Luck,

Thanks for all the suggestions. I couldn't find the valve and never thought about modifying one.

This was discussed some time in the past 2or 3 months. I put pix up of the setup I use. Try a search and see if you find it. Valves I use come from MSC. George
