Hi I have a power block for a 70 John deere that I would like to sell, I'm not into pulling so that's why I took it out just for putsing around the yard and the power block burns a bit more fuel. It came out of a running tractor and I have a set of pistons that came out of it too. I'm not sure the price on what to ask. I was thinking around $1000 so it would pay for the other block. I dont know if thats a good or bad price. I guess i would like some input or if your interested just let me know. Thanks!

Well if you would of ask before you removed it I'd of said leave it in there. As long as it was running fine and not leaking coolant into the cylinders. I doubt you will see any fuel savings as any 70 gas is a gas hog. I have no idea of what thing are bring these days. Maybe you can find a puller that wants the power block and will swap you plus some money to boot ?
