For two reasons- First, the lid and the backrest interfere with each other. Second, my 275 pound butt and my boy s 70 pound butt fit a lil too snug. Guess I could do something about that instead...
I didn t install it the way the directions said to. There are lil one inch spacers that are supposed to be used so the box sits above the foam on the fender. I cut out the foam and installed it directly on the fender, so it should be an inch over, but not really because I mounted it lower as well.
