350 dozer motor into a 1520

O.K. so a couple months back I asked about using a block from a 350 in my 1520. [Diesel by the way] It wouldn't work with that block and my engine parts. Now a friend has come up with a complete running motor out of a 350 with an injection pump that needs resealed. I know that I will give up some power but I need it this summer to rake and load hay with. Will it be fairly simple to put this engine in my tractor ? Will the injection pump from my 1520 fit the 350 engine ? Any suggestions, tips , pitfalls or wisdom appreciated. I am getting the whole frame it is bolted on complete from radiator to flywheel for $600. Thanks for any help Lee.

Won't be able to tell the differencebetween the 350's engine and the factory 1520 engine .
About the best the natural aspirated engines in that serious would do . Was 50HP on the PTO with the 173cu" version.

Assuming the 350 engine has a DBG injection pump, the JDB pump from the 1520 will bolt on but be set to pump too much fuel. If the 1520 engine is a 164, it makes around 12 more PTO horsepower then the 152 engine from the 350. 1520 engine is rated around 43-44 PTO horse and the 350 engine is rated around 31 PTO horse. Also note that some 350 engines use a CBC or CDC pump and if so - the DB pump from the 1520 will not bolt on.
