Plumbing Oil to Governor Idler Gear

Would anybody be able to tell me all the parts I would need to be able to plumb an oil line to the governor idler gear shaft on my 630? I see a lot of the pictures of the finished product on previous posts, but am just unsure of size of compression fittings, pipe tap, etc. I think the existing oil line might be 3/8 inch? If anybody has the service bulletin that talks about this would be a bonus!

I've tried to find the same info for external lube on the Powr trol gear, so far nothing definite. I probably just need to tear it apart.

What ever size tube it is going up to the oil pressure gauge is the size you use. I assume 1/8 inch line and associated fittings. If your 630 already has the drilled and tapped hole in the governor housing it is 1/8" pipe threads. It has been at least 40 years ago since I did this to my 630 but the job is very straight forward and simple. My 630 already had the threaded hole in the governor housing so I got lucky on that aspect.

A picture of my 630. It is not a perfect round pretty loop but it works.
