7410 side exhaust pipe gave up last winter. More specific it cracked at the flange/connection to the muffler and shimmied it's way out of the clamp. Getting the clamp off and the flanges lined up again was a nightmare in the cold, but we did it as good as we could considering.
Now a couple months later the exhaust pipe broke off completely about 1 1/2 inches below the muffler clamp. Getting a new exhaust pipe is out of the question, not for the kind of money John Deere is asking for it.
Has anyone attempted a fix on an exhaust pipe like that? There isn't really any space to use a straight pipe and ordinary muffler clamps. And the exhaust pipe, where it broke off, isn't just a single pipe, but rather an inner and outer pipe just above the curve going away from the engine block.
Really don't like the set up of this specific exhaust.
