JD 8300 harmonic balancer replacement

Hello guys, I have a buddy that wants me to replace the crankshaft dampner/ harmonic balancer on his JD 8300. I used to work on JD construction equipment, and I do a lot of tractor work, just not usually on John Deere tractors. The tractor is about an hour from me, so I'd like to find out ahead what I'll need aside from the normal hand tools. Since my buddy says there is some sort of a gearbox attached to the dampner/crank pulley, I'm not sure what's involved there. I'm assuming this dampner requires a puller? Any special procedures required on this tractor? And finally, anyone got an idea about how much time I should plan on to get this done so I can schedule the rest of the day or weekend? Thanks alot guys, just wanna be prepared so I don't have to make a lot of trips up there.

6 bolts to remove the pulley off the front, remove bolt inside the balancer then bolt flat bar to 2 of the pulley bolts and have threaded plate so you use original balancer bolt to push against, but the real trick is getting it out from the cast cage that surrounds it plus may need to drain cooling system to remove pipes to get it out.
