I have a 5310 with a 540 loader without self leveling. I am
going to need to run a hydraulic motor on a hay rake with it
but I have no detents on joystick no float or quick dump which
my manual says it has but can never get it there. So my
questions are can I run this motor through the scv valve and if
so how do I detent the joystick to flow fluid. Tractor is new to
me so please help! Should I add a power beyond?
 

How many GPM does the rake require ?
I can t pull-up the free online JD parts book worth a darn on my phone . There maybe some info there .
Is this loader plugged into the SCV to supply and return oil ? Or is the loader connected with it s own dedicated supply and return ?
Iirc the 5310 uses an open Center hydraulic system.
 
The loader is hooked up through the scv. Not sure on the
hydro motor on the rake do believe it is a lot a looks like a
small motor.
