so The carb on our 44 Model B (all fuel) is giving me fits. I can usually get around in 1st gear and sometimes 2nd/3rd. But anytime I put it into 4th,5th, or 6th the tractor stumbles as soon as I let the clutch out. I can feather the clutch and keep it running but I can t let the clutch out and drive away. So essentially with a load the tractor dies. I m out of options and need some help/guidance. Here is info on tractor/things I ve done.
Carb is a DLTX 34
Magenta is a WICO X
Carb has been sandblasted clean and passages blown out. Rebuild kit installed. Tried a new condenser (x5614).
Load needle is 1.5 turns out.
When running in 1-3 for a bit carb is cold and starts to sweat (healthy operation)
Idle sounds great and I can get it really slow.
JUST noticed the choke pin (what the butterfly mounts into) is leaking gas/sucking air and the screw next to the idle needle, and another screw seams to be leaking/sucking too. When I say leak, it s wet but not pouring out. <- is that my main problem or a separate problem and can I fix that or with all this info as I pigeon holed into buying a new carb? Thanks for the help and sorry if I left any info out.
Posted pics with circles show where s leaking.
