4230 quad range

I just purchased a 4230 quad range. It does not want to go into park. All of the ranges and gears work fine. It just doesn't want to go into park. Are there any adjustments to make to the linkage?

Are you unable to move the shift lever to the park position, or can you move it there but it is ineffective?

Serial number (above or below 34,792)?

sounds like the spring is broken on the lower shift cam.
