1010 PTO shifter seal

(quoted from post at 06:32:07 04/20/19) I want to replace the seal - # 61 in the diagram. My question is can I
pull the shaft out - # 60 in the diagram - without something falling
apart internally in the housing? Thanks.

Unfortunately my 1010 doesn't have the dual speed PTO or a PTO clutch, so I don't have any experience with that. However, these are the pages from the service manual that discuss disassembling to PTO clutch and the linkage. Hope this helps--if there's another section of the service manual that you'd like to see on this let me know.

I think the late models are different and does not have the removeable casting where the PTO engagement lever goes into.

I do think there is still an access plate there or near there. Maybe the OP can share some pictures.
