What do you feel the value of this tractor is? Seller states runs good, has new front tires, new gauges, lights work, rear tires are weathered with cracks but hold air. Paint looks good. Also has some extra parts and manuals. Seller has had it for 18 years. Thanks for any help.

It's just a John Deere A. Not the most fuel efficient but very useful. With the tires that is on it 1500.00 or less
is the best it might bring.

Offered the seller $1850.00. Done deal. It really is a nice tractor. Was as described. Other than the rear tires being weathered, everything works as it should. Drove it with no issues. Hand clutch worked great. Steering is tight. What else can I say.

(quoted from post at 09:13:12 04/18/19) In Iowa more around the $2500 range.

Checked out the weight. 5200+ lbs. This is a big boy. Fortunately I have a friend with a F250 diesel and rented a trailer to bring it home. Super excited.

Yep, you did good. First tractor I bought had bad BAD tires, but I drove it home and drove it for some time before they actually fell off. Didn't worry about it, it was and is a wonderful tractor. Easy to replace. And, money don't count when you're talking good old tractors.
