HELP - JD 4440 seat cushion replacement - HELP

In replacing the entire cab interior including the headliner nothing has been as difficult as bolting a new lower seat cushion back in. This tractor has a hydraulic seat and I have been working on it with it raised up. All I need to do is insert and tighten four bolts going up from the seat suspension into the bottom steel shell of the new seat. I was warned it is hard. You can't really see anything and you can hardly get your hand up in there. Plus, having the holes lined up exactly is nearly impossible. I am thinking I need to screw in four bolts with the heads cut off into the seat shell as "lineup" bolts. Then take the bolts out one at a time and replace them with the original hex bolts. Any one have any other ideas in making this outwardly simple project easier???? I want to get this finished tomorrow morning so I might post on the Tractor Talk forum as well. Thanks.
